Scoop height is 2" high at front of scoop, rear of scoop blends down to hood. Front of scoop is closed. Underside of scoop is open for clearance. Has complete inner structure for rigidity and strength. Top surface has smooth gray gel coat finish. Center of hood and scoop has small raised ridge from front to back. Fits 1967 and 1968 Mustang. Both styles bolt to hinges in the back. You must remove standard hood hinge springs and use a prop rod (CR-933) or use our low tension springs (705). Snorkel style hood with substitute aero-top. Overall height is 7". Starts as a 5" snorkel hood, you remove the standard box-shaped top and replace it with the aero-top. This is the lowest cost way to modernize. Scoop has full inner flanges for carb sealing and use of air pan kit.
